Brown and Caldwell was recognized for engineering two projects contractors “dream of completing” by the Associated General Contractors of America.

Oregon’s Lake Oswego Interceptor Sewer project netted the Grand Award for Best Construction Project of 2010 and the Best New Municipal Project for the project’s contractor, Advanced American Construction. Brown and Caldwell is cited as the project’s engineer.

The Val Vista, Ariz., Water Main Rehabilitation CMAR project won the Best Municipal Utilities and Renovation Project, with Brown and Caldwell again recognized as the project’s engineer.

“Frankly, they are the kind of projects many of us dread starting and all of us dream of completing,” the association’s president Ted Aadland said of the winning projects.
