The Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre includes a series of unique solids disposal systems made necessary by the nature of the physical, chemical and biological processes employed in treatment of the wastewater. This paper describes the solids disposal systems after first presenting background information concerning the project and a brief description of the wastewater treatment processes.
