A workplace for everyone

To engage, develop, and retain our 1,700 employees while delivering for our clients, Brown and Caldwell encourages employees to show up and celebrate the richness of their authentic and unique selves. BC is more than a workplace, it’s a lively network connecting employees, clients, and partners diverse in age, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, ethnicity, and all backgrounds and perspectives.

Empowering employees

To nurture an inclusive environment where employees are empowered to share their experiences and ideas, we’ve encouraged the creation of employee-run Employee Networking Groups (ENGs). These highly-active groups enable employees to develop new skills, network, and grow professionally. ENGs to date include Women at BC, LGBTQ Community & Allies, Remote Workers, Professional Parents, Mental Health, and Rising Professionals.

We believe in empowering people of all skills and talents to reach their full potential through education, mentoring, hands-on training, skill development, and providing ample opportunities for growth.

Increasing accessiblity

We value all talent and recognize that an environment accessible to everyone creates space for the best ideas. In 2021, BC partnered with Disability:IN to advocate for the inclusion of people with disabilities within our workplace. BC is leveraging Disability:IN’s tools, resources, and guidance to set measurable actions to achieve disability inclusion and equality; being a part of the positive change towards more accessible workplaces everywhere.
