While many communities are talking about water reclamation, the City of Santa Rosa has turned words into action. The city has embarked on a full-scale wastewater irrigation program by taking the entire discharge from its 6.5 mgd West College Avenue treatment plant and distributing it to local dairy ranchers for irrigation of about 1000 acres of pasture grass and feed crops.
