Brown and Caldwell’s turnkey design-build approach eliminated a source-area chlorinated volatile organic compound (CVOC) mass that had thwarted previous remediation attempts by others. Excavation and dewatering to 30-feet below grade was completed on time, within budget, and incident free despite being conducted in a complex geologic environment on a compact urban site.
