Shipyard redeveloment wins public support

Brown and Caldwell won public support for remediation and redevelopment of a 2.5-acre former shipyard into a $90 million, 11-story condominium complex. Public meetings shared detailed environmental monitoring data to assure the community that the removal of 80,000 cubic yards of contaminated soil would pose no risk to residents. At the end of the project, the leader of one of the opposition groups wrote a letter of thanks to Brown and Caldwell, expressing appreciation for the way their concerns were heard and addressed.
