Virtual Procurement Toolkit
Owner Advisor Strategies to Virtually
Advance Design-Build Projects
Over the past several months, BC’s Owner Advisor team has been partnering with water and wastewater utility owners to virtually advance design-build projects. We've helped to define and execute procurement strategies, virtually interview respondent teams, select design-builders, and collaborate in the cloud. We developed the Virtual Procurement Toolkit to share this guidance and procurement strategies with our clients. The Toolkit includes practical, real-world advice for each step of the procurement lifecycle, considerations for choosing an online collaborative delivery platform, and the case studies that informed these Standard Operating Procedures. As we navigate this challenging time together, BC will continue to add and update this Virtual Procurement Toolkit, providing the industry with a necessary resource to minimize disruption and keep critical infrastructure procurements and projects moving forward in our new virtual world.
